Roasting

Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is pleasant to drink. It mellows, and turns into an opulent hug to your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa includes citrus notes for balance. The result is a cup that is delicious by itself, or paired with cake or milk chocolate. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or simple vanilla sponges very well.

When brewing this coffee we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boil water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. After making the coffee, let it sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water is then forced through the grounds by the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could result in unpleasant components in your cup.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a mellow light roast with the sweet, citrus and cocoa scent. It has a smooth touch and a soft mouthfeel. The cocoa hints can be traced to the winter days spent on the sofa, reading a good book and a warm family hug. Pre-heat your French Press by using water that has not yet reached boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from extracting too much and forming undesirable elements in your drink. Add the grounds, and 250ml of off the boil water. For four minutes, simmer, take a plunge and relax.
